Welcome Agnes Schneidewind

We welcome Agnes Schneidewind to the residency. She is an Austrian poet, movement and performance artist. Her work on Svalbard involves the phenomenon of darkness. The interest arises out of an intense bodily experience of darkness, the common fear of darkness, the connotation of darkness with something bad, wild, uncontrolled, in opposition to the light, enlightenment, the Enlightenment.
